2025 Season Launch

Join us on Wednesday 5 February from 5:30pm, official proceedings in the Alpine MDF Theatre followed by finger food & light refreshments in the foyer.

The Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre is thrilled to launch it’s 2025 theatre season and continue delivering exceptional performing arts to the Rural City of Wangaratta. After celebrating our fifteenth birthday last year, we have been working hard to bring a new season and a unique curation of hand picked works to the stage and to our community.

Everyone is invited to join us on Wednesday 5th February from 5:30pm to 7pm to attend this special event.  The launch will provide show snippets, ticket giveaways, conversations, food, drinks and attendees will be among the very first to hear about and celebrate the stellar line-up and receive our 2025 season brochure.

This year’s launch will feature a special performance by the all singing, all dancing, Luke Alleva – The Dancin’ Man who will have you tapping along in your seat, while The McAvootie Brothers will bring their special style of swing and magic as roving entertainment.

The launch will include some special announcements following the success of last years Black Box Series as well as the team hitting the road for the first Rural Towns Tour since covid as well as a new partnership with an iconic Australian performance company of storytellers.

Official proceedings will be held in the Alpine MDF Theatre followed by light refreshments in the foyer.
