This year’s families and children’s program kicks off with Ratburger, from the creative mind of bestselling children’s author David Walliams, this best-selling book comes to life on stage with visually stunning sets and charming puppetry.

Literature will leap from the page to the stage with The Gruffalo’s Child brought to life before our eyes.  Join the Gruffalo’s Child on her adventurous mission in this magical musical adaptation of the much loved picture book with songs, laughs and scary fun.

In Common is a thrilling new work by One Fell Swoop Circus, which sees a unique sculpture brought to life by eight acrobats using the company’s signature style of acrobatics.  Come and experience an impossible structure built from steel and rope held aloft with floating invisible tension.

We’ll introduce young audiences to the explore Brahms’ First Symphony and the Overture to Glinka’s opera, with a highly interactive concert, MSO for Kids. This popular program provides active participation and listening for the audience while discovering the sights and sounds of the Orchestra.
